Materials and Care

How to care for your jewelry

Our jewelry is carefully handcrafted on gold plated stainless steel, including sometimes freshwater pearls and handmade pieces on polymer clay or resin depending of designs, Most of the jewelry pieces are created in limited batches. As a result you get a truly unique piece, with stories and variations of their own.

Maintaining Gold plated Stainless Steel jewelry use a polishing cloth to wipe away dirt collected on the surface.

To keep gold plated stainless steel jewelry shiny. Avoid perfumes, lotions, oils, water or any substances that may harm or discolor the plating. Take care when wearing during adding makeup, swimming, sleeping and exercising. You can wear your jewelry pieces, but is recommended take off during these activities.

Maintaining Fresh water pearls clean with a damp cloth only as needed; pearls are sensitive and delicate, so don’t forget to treat them with love but wear them freely! Pearls do best in a moist environment, so wearing them frequently keeps them from drying out. Easiest. Advice. Ever. Store them flat and separate from other jewelry pieces is recommended to prevent scratches. Same directions about Polymer clay pieces and other extras.

Please expect some natural minor tarnishing over time with wear. To reduce the effect of wear, gently wipe jewelry with soft polishing cloth and store in a dry place. Protect jewelry from abrasive surfaces and harsh chemicals and please be mindful of wearing makeup near jewelry or of getting your plated metal piece wet. Tarnishing and discoloration occur by the oxidization process, when metal is in contact with air and acids through handling and moisture.
